Glebe Engineering was formed in the 1930’s, and since that time the company has vastly grown, both organically and via the acquisition of other companies. The last 80 years have obviously seen some great changes at Glebe, however the principles of the company still remain the same; to provide exceptional QUALITY, RELIABILTY, VALUE and EFFICIENCY for its customers.



Glebe Engineering is located in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, which is in the heart of the Midlands and minutes from the M6 motorway. The premises itself is an ex-Royal Doulton pottery, with 6000 ft² of usable floorspace. The space is mainly divided up into 3 sections- Engineering, Transmissions and Assembly, meaning it has the space and resources to achieve a great deal under one roof.


Glebe is a family business, spanning 4 generations. Each generation has brought their own skills and interests to Glebe which has aided the growth of the company. The family nature of the business has a profound effect on both its day-to-day activities and its overall strategy; Glebe customers can expect a friendly business relationship as opposed to a short-term service, and can be confident that the business has strong foundations that will continue to grow steadily into the future.
